La vida de una inmigrante salvadoreña dio un vuelco inesperado cuando se enteró que sufría de diabetes tipo 2. Los cambios en su estilo de vida le afectaron notablemente, pero la solución la encontró donde menos esperaba. The problem of Latinos with diabetes

The life of a Salvadoran immigrant took an unexpected turn when she found out that she suffered from type 2 diabetes. The changes in her lifestyle affected her remarkably, but she found her solution where she least expected it. Endocrinologists and researchers offer details on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Type 2 Diabetes, a disease that affects Latinos more than any other ethnic and racial group in the United States.
